1. Do I need a permit to host a fireworks display?
In the UK, you do not need a licence or permit. However, we recommend informing your neighbours and anyone with pets or livestock in the vicinity about the date and time of your display.
2. Is insurance required for a fireworks display?
For private events, you won't need additional insurance as all Fantazia Fireworks displays are covered under our own policy. However, for public displays, event insurance is required.
3. What type and amount of insurance do you carry?
We hold £10 million, comprehensive insurance coverage, including public liability insurance, to ensure the safety and protection of our clients and their guests.
4. Can you provide fireworks on short notice for an event happening tomorrow?
We always strive to accommodate last-minute requests, but availability depends on current bookings and logistical considerations. Please contact us as soon as possible.
5. Until what time can I legally set off fireworks?
The curfew is 11pm on most nights, with extensions until midnight on November 5th, and until 1am on Diwali, Chinese New Year, and New Year's Eve.
6. Do I need to inform the police or local council about my fireworks display?
No, but if you believe the display might cause an unexpected disturbance, informing them and your neighbours ahead of time will help everyone be aware.
7. What is the price range for your fireworks displays?
The lowest price display we offer is £595. There is no upper limit to duration and cost. During the past 40 years we have fired display costing hundreds of thousands of pounds.
8. How much space is required for a fireworks display?
The amount of space needed depends on the type and scale of the display. We have conducted displays in a wide variety of locations from barges on the sea, lakes and rivers to rooftops, city centres, and even some of the tightest spaces like on top of skyscrapers. In an ideal world a large, open area at least the size of a football pitch would be great, but we can adapt to many different environments based on your needs. We can provide a site survey to determine the optimal setup for your event.
9. What if it rains on the day of the event?
Our displays are designed to be weather-resistant, but heavy rain or severe winds may require us to reschedule for safety reasons. We will work with you to find the best solution.
10. Can you organise fireworks displays outside the UK?
Yes, we have fired displays literally all over the world and have a lot of experience arranging fireworks displays internationally. Please get in touch with us to discuss the specifics of your location and requirements.
11. How do I choose between different fireworks companies?
When selecting a fireworks company, consider factors such as experience, insurance coverage, customer reviews, and the quality of their previous displays. But the best guide is to go with the company you feel most comfortable with.

13. Are fireworks displays safe?
Yes, when conducted by professionals, fireworks displays are safe. We follow strict safety protocols and guidelines laid out by the British Pyrotechnists Association (BPA) to ensure the safety of all attendees. We are also members of the BPA as well as qualified trainers and examiners for BPA fireworks courses.
14. Can fireworks be used for private events?
Absolutely! We cater for all types of events including private events, such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries and corporate gatherings.
15. What types of fireworks are available for displays?

16. How long should a fireworks display last?
The duration of a firework display can vary based on your preferences and budget. Typically, displays last between 10 to 20 minutes. We recommend 20 minutes as a maximum, from our experience we find that displays become "boring" after this.

18. How far in advance should I book a fireworks display?
We recommend booking your fireworks display at least a few months in advance to ensure availability and ample planning time.
